The comedians of Comedy Club Sofia are mainly divided into residents and regular comedians.
Resident of the Comedy Club Sofia is the highest title in stand-up comedy in Bulgaria. Since the establishment of the Comedy Club in 2015, the main criteria have been:
Talent; Hard work; Contribution to the development of the Comedy Club and stand-up comedy in the country.
The regular comedians are the comedians who have passed their trial period after their first appearance on Open Mic show and who have already become a major part of the Club.

Ivan Kirkov is the founder of Comedy Club Sofia. He started his career in 2012 on an Open Mic show in Austria and a little later in the same year he returned to Bulgaria with a single goal: to found Comedy.BG and to spread the stand-up comedy genre in the country. In 2015 he created the first and so far only comedy club in the country – Comedy Club Sofia.
At the invitation of Ivan Kirkov, many world-famous comedians came to Bulgaria, such as Louis C. K, Jimmy Carr, Eddie Izard, Stephen K. Amos, Daniel Sloss and many others.
And his jokes are divided into sharp and really sharp.
Vasil Nozharov is the second resident of the Comedy Club Sofia and one of the best stand-up comedians in Bulgaria. His active career started in 2013. Vasil has over 800 stand-up comedy shows in his career and numerous awards, including Comedian of the Year 2016 and 2017.
His humor is built on storytelling and fun cogitation.

Nikola Todoroski is a Macedonian comedian, who has won many awards, including the 2014 Best Comedian Award for Macedonia. Born in Ohrid and graduated in acting in Sofia, he is currently an active stand-up comedian in Macedonia and an actor at the Ohrid National Theater.
He, Ivan Kirkov and Vasil Nozharov are the founders and first residents of the Comedy Club Sofia and generally guilty for stand-up comedy in Bulgaria.
His humor is focused on everyday problems and observations.
Petya Kyupova is the first woman professional stand-up comedian in Bulgaria. She is one of the best stand-up comedians in the country and a major resident of Comedy Club Sofia. Her active career started in 2016 at Open Mic in Comedy Club Sofia.
And she is already the winner of the “Comedian of the Year” award for 2019.
Before starting standup, Petya studied and graduated in acting for drama theater at SWU “Neofit Rilski” in Blagoevgrad.
And today there are already over 600 professional shows behind him, of which 2 in Hall 1 in FCC Varna and 7 shows in Hall 1 in National Palace of Culture, participation in three Comedy Festivals, tours throughout Bulgaria and participation as warm-up comedian for Louis C.K. in Bulgaria.
Nikolay Bankov is one of the first and best stand-up comedians in Bulgaria. His active career started in 2014 from Open Mic of Comedy BG. In 2018 he became Comedian of the Year, along with Philip from the Comedy Club.
Born in Plovdiv, he has been involved in stand-up for 5 years now. He already has his own solo show and in February he presented it to the fans of comedy in his hometown – in Comedy Club Plovdiv.
Self-irony and brutal humor are his trademark.
Nikolaos Tsitiridis is one of the main residents and best stand-up comedians of Comedy Club Sofia. His active career started in the spring of 2016 at Open Mic in Comedy Club Sofia.
As a journalist by profession, he worked for 7 years on one of the most read sites in Bulgaria. He received the “Young Journalist of the Year Award” for 2014 for his investigations. He created the one-of-a-kind humorous blog about waffles, and in 2019 he published his first book dedicated to dessert and humor – “About waffles and people”.

Nikolaos has hundreds of shows in his career and has participated in 7 stand-up comedy shows in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture so far. He has already been named “Comedian of the Year” for 2019.
Philip from Comedy Club Sofia is one of the best stand-up comedians in Bulgaria. His active career started in the spring and summer of 2016 from Open Mic in Comedy Club Sofia. In October 2018, he became the youngest winner of the Comedian of the Year award at Comedy Club Sofia.
His witty puns make him a master of this style.

Alexander Deyanski is a main comedian and a resident of Comedy Club Sofia. His active career started in January 2016 at Open Mic in Comedy Club Sofia.
In 2008 he graduated from the Secondary School “Acad. SP Korolev” in Blagoevgrad.
She participates in school teams in mathematics and mathematical linguistics, which gains “huge” popularity among girls.
So far, he has more than 600 professional shows, 7 of which are in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture, but he lives in constant fear that he will lose his sense of humor.
He is also known for his participation in the Comedy Club News podcast.
Hristo Radoev is one of the most original stand-up comedians in Bulgaria and main comedian of Comedy Club Sofia. His career started with Open Mic in Comedy Club Sofia in 2016.
His stand-up stories are as funny as they are real.
On April 1, 2018, he participated in the record stand up comedy show with the comedians of Comedy Club Sofia. Hristo made 2582 people laugh to tears, and this is part of his presentation on this memorable evening:
Tsvetomir Pavlov is one of the most original stand-up comedians in Bulgaria and main comedian of Comedy Club Sofia. His career started at Open Mic in Comedy Club Sofia in 2016.
“If you want to win on Open Mic, don’t listen to me, but if you want to have a future in comedy, there may be some true things I can say. Don’t go on stage to have fun with your company, don’t go out of sick ambitions to make 2 hours in a hurry in 2 weeks (it can’t happen), don’t go out to tell stupid jokes from the company or how Ivan fucks pussies and is fucking funny. A little thought and a good self-assessment will only help you in Open Mic.”
His hobbies are tricks: “As a friend of mine says: my life was sh*t and I was going to hang myself but he taught me focus tricks and from there everything changed. Money, bitchez, fame.”
At school, I always had some stupid comment on everything and everyone hated me. Now everyone hates me again, but at least there are people who appreciate the stupid comments I make.
Kalin Krastev is one of the first comedians of the Club: since 2015. At the annual awards of Comedy.bg in 2016, just one year after his first appearance on the stage of Comedy Club Sofia, Kalin was awarded the prize “Self-irony of the year”!
His jokes are full of self-irony and with them, he take us to places we have never been before.
